The Aran made a proposal on March 12, 2026, during negotiations that included salary increases as well as changes to the normative part. The trade union Uilpa, acknowledged the initiation of the proceedings but advocated for improving workers’ conditions. Aran’s proposal includes progressive wage increases which are set to come into effect on January 1, 2027. The wage increases are as follows:
– For officials, an increase of 152.90 euros,
– For assistants, an increase of 125.90 euros,
– For operators, an increase of 119.60 euros.
Uilpa raised some concerns, requesting that 90% of the contract resources be allocated to the basic salary and 10% to productivity bonuses to provide workers with economic certainty. Additionally, the union is asking for a safeguard clause against inflation and the immediate liquidation of arrears accumulated since 2025.
On a normative level, Aran positively received the proposal to overcome the strict obligation of planning by April 30 of each year. A novel aspect of the negotiation involves the introduction of Artificial Intelligence in public offices. Uilpa wants clear rules on issues such as technology usage control, algorithm transparency, and job precarity.
The next meeting between the social parties is scheduled for April 8, 2026.
