The Collective Bargaining Agreement signed by Confindustria Veneto Est, Sezione autonoma ANCE Rovigo Treviso, ANCE Padova e ANCE Vicenza and Fillea Cgil, Filca Cisl and Feneal Uil, includes some amendments regarding the rules for work schedules, company availability, meal benefits, and allowances in the provinces of Treviso, Padova and Vicenza.
Work Schedule:
The standard contractual work week, which applies to production workers, site staff and other employees, averages 40 hours.
Company Availability:
On-call workers and employees who agree to their employer’s written request to be available, are entitled to a daily allowance from October 1st 2017, as follows:
– 16 hours daily: €7
– All day on a day off: €9.00
– All day on a public holiday: €12.
Meal Benefit:
Workers, staff working on sites and drivers are provided with a hot meal. The company will bear the cost up to €14 per day.
Travel Allowance:
The daily travel allowance as per contract, is paid out in the following tiers:
– Tier 1: €6.50
– Tier 2: €10.50
– Tier 3: €15.50
– Tier 4: €15.50 + €4.00 for every additional 50km or fraction thereof.
Mountain Allowance:
Workers deployed in high mountain areas are entitled to an additional allowance, calculated as a percentage of salary, as follows:
– 1,300 to 1,800 meters: 7%
– 1,801 to 2,000 meters: 10%
– Above 2,001 meters: 20%.
In the case of tunnel workers:
– Frontline drilling, advancing or widening personnel, including those loading materials and repairing under difficulty and discomfort: 46%
– Staff engaged in lining, plastering or finishing masonry work; auxiliary work, intra-tunnel loading and transportation during drilling, advancement and setup; staff engaged in earth consolidation and/or waterproofing during tunnel construction: 26%
– Staff engaged in routine maintenance of tunnels and installations in completed sections, including railway line installation; staff engaged in restructuring or conservative restoration of existing tunnels through consolidation, draining or similar: 18%.
