The National Collective Labor Contract for employees of trade unions and workers’ associations, at both national and territorial levels, and representing various categories, sector-based associations, and institutions promoted or related by these bodies, was renewed on March 26, 2026. The contract was signed by Unsic, Asnali, and Confsal, Snalv-Confsal, and Confial, and it is valid from January 1, 2026, until December 31, 2028.
The contract established new minimum pay rates for workers, with six different levels.
– Level I: Gross pay will be €2,788.00 from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, €2,829.82 from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027, and €2,872.27 from January 1, 2028, to December 31, 2028.
– Level II: Gross pay for this level will go from €2,331.75 in 2026, to €2,366.73 in 2027, and finally €2,402.23 in 2028.
– Level III: Workers at this level will see their wages increase from €2,096.38 in 2026 to €2,127.83 in 2027 and €2,159.74 in 2028.
– Level IV: The gross pay for level IV increases from €1,863.44 in 2026 to €1,891.39 in 2027 and €1,919.76 in 2028.
– Level V: The gross compensation starts at €1,735.04 in 2026 and rise to €1,761.07 in 2027 and €1,787.48 in 2028.
– Level VI: Pay in 2026 starts at €1,588.78, increases to €1,612.61 in 2027 and further to €1,636.80 in 2028.
The terms of the contract indicate that if these minimum contractual pay rates increase during the contract period, individual premium payments, monetary benefits assigned to individuals, and other salary components of an individual nature can be absorbed either fully or partly, at the employer’s discretion, unless these amounts have been expressly specified as non-absorbable in individual or company agreements. This absorption can only occur to the extent of the contractual increases and cannot result in a reduction of the overall amount of pay received prior to the increase.
