CIPL Construction Industry Rome: new minimum wages from March 1st

The new wage tables outlining increased salaries for workers and employees in Rome and its province have been released. This follows the implementation of the CCNL (National Collective Labor Agreement) dated February 21, 2025. The updated wage tables, published by Ance Association, apply the second tranche of new minimum wages specific to the building sector of Rome and its province. These new salaries are applicable from March 1, 2026.

For production workers, the following wage structure applies: workers at the fourth level earn a minimum of €9.04, supplemented with a contingency allowance of €3.01, a sector territorial allowance of €1.58, and EDR of €0.06. This results in a total of €13.69, which with a 4.95% allowance for individual permits (€0.68) comes to a total of €14.37.

Similarly, specialized workers earn a total of €13.56, qualified workers earn €12.52, and common workers earn €11.15, after considering their respective allowances and permits.

The wage structure for intermittent workers such as custodians, guards, messengers, ushers, and attendants is €9.81. For custodians, gatekeepers, guardians with accommodation, the total wages amount to €9.02.

Moving on to employees, the wage structure is again compartmentalized into levels. For those in the highest category (7th level), the total earnings are €3.150,15. The total wages for employees in the 1st category (6th level) are €2.890,41.

The wages for the 2nd category (5th level) employees total €2.495,22, while the 4th level employees earn €2.357,84 in total. The total earnings for the 3rd category (3rd level) amount to €2.224,25.

The 2nd level of the 4th category earns a total of €2.052,86, and an entry-level employee in the 4th category earns a total of €1.828,76. The salary segments included in these totals are the minimum wage, contingency allowance, production bonus, and EDR.

In conclusion, the CCNL’s new wage structures reflect salary increases for workers and employees in Rome and its province, with the inclusion of allowances, bonuses, and other wage supplements depending on job roles and levels. These wages are applicable from March 1, 2026.
