On May 19, 2026, representatives from social parties Filctem-Cgil, Femca-Cisl, Uiltec-Uil, and Assosistema Confindustria signed off on a proposed agreement for renewing contracts that concern employees of industrial laundries.
This agreement stipulates an overall median increase of 188.00 euros, exclusive to the B1 salary level. Additionally, the minimum wage raise amounts to 180.00 euros, partitioned into four tranches:
– An immediate increase of 50.00 euros from May 2026,
– A subsequent increase of 20.00 euros from December 2026,
– Followed by an additional 50.00 euros from October 2027,
– And concluding with a final increase of 60.00 euros from October 2028.
The renewal also heralds a series of other financial novelties, including:
– A boost to the equilibrating factor from 350.00 euros to 380.00 euros,
– An uptick of 0.1% in the supplementary pension fund (Previmoda) contribution, paid for by the companies,
– And an increase in the health fund contribution (Fasiil) from 12.00 euros to 15.00 euros, again paid for by the companies.
On a legislative front, measures are expected to address working hour reductions, and the percentage of term contracts will be lowered from 35 to 30 percent.
