INAIL has announced the economic benefits for the industrial, maritime, agricultural, and radiation-exposed medical sectors for the year 2024. The adjustments were made based on a 5.4% increase in the ISTAT consumer price index between 2022 and 2023. The circular provides details on the compensation for work-related injuries and occupational diseases, including permanent disability pensions. In the industrial sector, the minimum annual salary is set at €20,258.70, while the maximum is €37,623.30. For maritime workers, the annual maximum salary varies for different roles. In agriculture, the annual conventional salary for pension calculations is €30,577.54. Medical professionals exposed to ionizing radiation have a conventional annual salary of €66,366.14. The circular also outlines the revaluation coefficients for ongoing pension benefits. The revaluation process varies depending on the type of worker and the date the benefit was granted. Workers in agriculture, both temporary and permanent, have specific guidelines for revaluation. For cases of pension supplementation in 2023, the payment should consider the updated pension rate.
