On December 9, 2024, Confcommercio Roma, Confcommercio Lazio and the Territorial OO.SS. of Rome and Lazio Filcams-Cgil, Fisascat-Cisl, Uiltucs-Uil have signed the new regional integrated contract and the Tertiary Memorandum of Understanding for the Jubilee 2025. The agreement is valid henceforth until December 31, 2027. It applies to all companies that have either a legal or operational seat in the region of Lazio and implement, without exclusion, the CCNL for employees from Tertiary, Distribution and Services companies (CCNL TDS).
Starting from January 1, 2025, the amount to pay to SANIMPRESA for each employee is increased by 3 euros per month, for a yearly total of 288 euros. This raise ensures the maintenance and improvement of the current health plan.
Regarding legal affairs, particularly concerning weekend contracts, additions to the stipulations from the Tertiary CCNL for part-time weekend workers have been made. Workers hired for 8 hours per week for Saturday can be designated, furthermore, to equal performance on Sundays and/or holidays. An extension of the duration for Saturdays may also be agreed upon, through a transformation agreement, for Sundays and/or holidays.
For Sunday and/or holiday services, a daily allowance of 15 gross euros useful for the calculation of the TFR will be paid, excluding all other deferred institutes.
In the topic of working hours reduction, companies, notwithstanding the monthly salary, can plan a decrease in working hours, up to 36 hours per week for a maximum of 18 weeks in the year. This allows the use of partial paid leave hours in sync with the early closure of offices or less use of company premises/Iocations of work provision.
The Jubilee Year, which is an international event drawing a large influx of pilgrims and visitors to Rome, can offer economic development opportunities for the entire region and potential employment growth for companies. For this reason, the Social Parties have agreed on a Protocol to introduce extraordinary and flexible tools. These tools aim to address the organizational needs of the local businesses and safeguard workers, promoting work-life balance.
