New minimum wages anticipated with the CCNL Commercio (Cifa-Confsal) agreement

Starting from 1st January 2025, new figures have been tabled for discussion. On January 15, 2025, Cifa Italia, Confsal Federlavoratori, and Confsal signed an agreement stating that from 1st January 2025, the minimum wages in place would be adapted and new wage tables would be applied to workers in the sectors of commerce, tertiary, distribution, services, public places of business, and tourism. Therefore, the new wages are those indicated in the tables below.

Minimum wages for the commerce, tertiary, distribution and services sector:

– Level “Quadro”: The minimum wage from 1.6.2024 to 28.2.2025 is 2,880 (currency not specified), from 1.3.2025 to 31.10.2025 is 2,930, and from 1.11.2025 is 2,990.
– Level 1: It is 2,410 from 1.6.2024 to 28.2.2025, 2,455 from 1.3.2025 to 31.10.2025, and 2,510 from 1.11.2025. This pattern continues till Level 7 in a descending order.

The minimum amount for the “Quadro” level includes a duty allowance of 180.00 euros gross per month.

For the tourism and public establishments sector, the wage structure is as follows:

– Level “Quadro”: The minimum wage from 1.6.2024 to 31.5.2025 is 2,230, and it increases to 2,290 from 1.6.2025.
– Level 1: It is 1,995 from 1.6.2024 to 31.5.2025 and increases to 2,045 from 1.6.2025. This pattern also continues till Level 7 in a descending order.

The minimum amount for the “Quadro” level here also includes a duty allowance of 70.00 euros gross per month.
These wage adjustments mark an important development for workers in these sectors and contribute to setting minimum standards for pay.
