The trade unions Fp-Cgil, Fisascat-Cisl, Uiltucs and Fpl-Uil have officially called on the employer association AGESPI to promptly begin negotiations for the renewal of the expired sector-wide National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the personnel of the third health and social care sector and post-intensive care units. They emphasized the current contractual void, noting that the sector contract expired on December 31, 2019. They also recalled a previous communication on June 22, 2023, which has yet to receive any response.
The unions aim to strengthen normative protections, improve working conditions, and gain adequate wage recognition. The intervention concluded with a wish for swift negotiations that lead to the final signature of a contract renewal in line with agreements already established in the sector and adapted to the social, demographic, and professional dynamics of the health and social care division.
