On July 23, Postel S.p.A. and the trade unions Slp-Cisl, Fnc-Ugl Com.ni, Uil-Poste, Slc-Cgil, Failp Cisal-Conflsal Com.ni signed an agreement specifying the amounts of performance bonuses for employees in the Staff and Production departments for 2025/2026. This stems from the corporate union agreements of April 4, 2013.
The bonus is a reward for workers for productivity and profitability improvements due to process and company reorganization measures. The bonus distribution depends on reaching the Ebit (Earnings before interests and taxes) parameter of the Poste Italiane group, as agreed at the meeting on July 8.
Employees with permanent and apprenticeship contracts on December 31 of 2025 and 2026 are eligible. The bonus does not contribute to termination pay and will be increased by 50 euros if the employee does not have any absent days in 2025 and 2026. It will be disbursed with June’s salary in 2026 and 2027. The same applies to personnel retiring after December 31 of 2025 and 2026, and before June of 2026 and 2027.
The performance reward for 2025/2026 for both Staff and Production departments varies among different levels; for instance, in 2025, an A1 level staff’s bonus is 1,934 euros and in 2026, it is 2,054 euros. Similarly, an A1 level Production employee receives 2,041 euros in 2025 and 2,169 euros in 2026.
There are deductions for sickness, excluding serious diseases and day hospital stays; and the performance reward can also be availed, fully or partly, as welfare, i.e., in expense reimbursements or additional contributions to the pension or health aid fund.
If an employee chooses to allocate the bonus to welfare, they are entitled to additional credits depending on the percentage of the bonus used. Should the bonus amounts be less than 500 euros, these credits will be reduced by 50%.
The parties will meet in May 2026 to define the bonus amounts for that year.
