The Italian National Institute of Social Security (INPS) has implemented new methods for displaying data in the contribution statement (INPS, message dated September 2, 2025, no. 2553). This enhancement is part of the project PES2024_DCP_MI.10_254 which aims to facilitate chronological consultation of contribution periods, making the consultation service more streamlined and providing a clearer overall view of one’s insurance position.
New data display methods within the Contribution Statement have been made in the context of this project. The Institute illustrates these updates in detail and also reminds that it is possible to request changes in one’s insurance position.
In the event an individual is registered with only one INPS Management type, an updated and standardized graphical interface showing the relevant section (such as, Public Management or Separate Management) is displayed. On the other hand, if an individual is registered with two or more Managements, a summary sheet is shown, with chronological presentation of the accredited periods. One can also view the corresponding management section by clicking on the magnifier symbol corresponding to each period.
In addition, in adherence to the principle of unity of the insurance position, the contribution statement contains integrated quantitative data and other elements that help paint a comprehensive picture of the insured person’s pension situation. These include notes describing conditions and limits for the use of certain periods and information about some of the personal situations of the insured person such as pension entitlements.
Lastly, the methods for accessing the contribution statement are summarized, along with how to request it.
