On September 30, 2025, the employee consultation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers was concluded. This was promoted by the Fp-Cgil Union for the pre-agreement of the 2019-2021 National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) signed on July 10, 2025 by other organizations. The contract had been awaited for years and included wage increases. However, over 80% of the approximately 500 participants in the consultation expressed a negative opinion regarding the proposed agreement for the 2019-2020 period.
The Union, on this occasion, reiterated the reasons for not signing the pre-agreement and therefore confirmed their opposing stance due to the lack of contractualization of the right to agile and remote work. They stressed the need to regulate the matter at a national negotiation level by providing uniform criteria and methods for smart working. The Union also restated that such lack of forecast in the sector’s CCNL results in the company’s administration rejecting the proposal’s inclusion in supplementary negotiation.
Lastly, Fp-Cgil confirmed the continuation of their battle to improve working conditions, removing them from the administration’s discretion. They appeal to other Trade Unions to reconsider the final signature and demand immediate improvements.
