On October 31, 2025, trade unions Filcams-Cgil, Fisascat-Cisl, Uiltucs-Uil, and the employer association Confedilizia signed a proposal to renew the CCNL sector contract. This affects about 40,000 doormen and cleaning workers who are employed by property owners. The proposed agreement would be in effect from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2028. The previous contract had expired in 2022.
The proposal includes an update on the wages with an increase of 209.00 euros for the A3 level that will be paid out in three instalments. These increments will be proportionally applied to other levels as well. The first tranche of 154.28 euros will be paid in January 2026. The second tranche of 27.19 euros will be paid in January 2027, and the final tranche of 27.73 euros will be paid in January 2028
To cover the period of 2023 to 2025 when there was no contract, employees in the A3 and A4 profiles will receive a one-time payment of 1,500.00 euros. This amount will be paid out in three instalments of 500.00 euros each. The first instalment will be made when the CCNL is signed, the second in June 2026, and the third in June 2027. This one-time payment will also be given proportionally to other levels of employees.
The new agreement also includes additional protections for workers such as improved sick pay and a new allowance for receiving and delivering keys. It extends supplemental health assistance to dependent family members and introduces a paid leave day for preventative doctor visits. It includes regulations to protect parenthood.
To promote professionalism and prevent contract dumping, a joint commission has been established. The commission’s role is to study and adapt workers’ roles and tasks to meet the changing demands of the sector.
The trade unions expressed full satisfaction with the agreement reached.
