In a press release issued on October 31, 2025, the trade unions Fim, Fiom, and Uilm announced that during their most recent meeting, some progress was made in terms of regulatory framework. Notably, important advancements were seen in the areas of health and safety. Specifically, there will be a new system for reporting critical and dangerous situations in all companies. In case of accidents, a dedicated meeting between the Preventive and Protective Services Manager (RSPP) and the Workers’ Safety Representatives (RLS) is planned. They also agreed to prioritize education breaks in cases of accidents.
Additionally, several other points were discussed at the meeting. Firstly, there will be an increase in training hours for RLS. Enhancements in the subjective right to training scenarios were also agreed upon. The right to information for Unitary Workplace Union Structures (RSU) will also be strengthened. Improvements in the area of serious illnesses and rights for immigrant workers were also discussed.
The renewal negotiations will continue on the 13th and 14th of November. During these days, topics such as the job market, contracts, work timing, and salaries will be discussed.
