Proposal for Agreement Signed for CCNL Car Trade/Vehicle Rental

Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, and Uiltrasporti unions have signed a proposed agreement for the CCNL Noleggio Automezzi, a contract expired on December 31, 2024. The agreement, executed with the employer association Aniasa, impacts roughly 20,000 employees in the sector.

Under the agreement, there would be a significant pay increase: a €238 ($271.44) average for the 2025-2027 period, with €200 ($228.17) based on the industry’s fixed-rate scale. Payments would come in four segments, with the first starting in January. Also, €560 ($638.87) would be distributed as contractual holiday payments.

In addition to financial enhancements, there are normative aspects presented in the deal. An appointments section was introduced aiming to solidify the supply chain contract process and to put a stop to contracting superficially low bids, commonly referred to as contract dumping.

The agreement includes an assessment on part-time work, entailing consolidation of overtime hours and monitoring of the recursive effect as a way to counter involuntary part-time employment.

The proposal includes paid leave for female workers suffering from dysmenorrhea and for women incorporated in paths relating to gender-based violence. For the latter, the once-off compensation for transfers doubled, with the possibility of returning included. Monitoring gender pay gap is also incorporated.

Single parents and same-sex parent couples can avail parenting-related benefits. Legal assistance is also provided in civil or criminal proceedings for causes not dependent on fraudulent intents or serious guilt.

The unions will now submit the proposed agreement for review and consultation with the workers in the sector.
