Trade unions Filt-Cgil Piemonte, Fit-Cisl Piemonte, Uiltrasporti Piemonte and employers’ associations Confartigianato Imprese Piemonte, Cna Piemonte, and Casartigiani Piemonte signed an agreement for employees of craft transport and logistics companies in the Piemonte Region on November 26, 2025. The sector is undergoing major changes due to technological innovation, digitization of processes, and sustainability, requiring new skills and professional positions. Moreover, the industry faces a shortage of qualified personnel such as drivers, specialized operators, and handling staff.
The new agreement is crucial for ensuring workers’ rights, quality of work, promoting professional updates, and supporting the competitiveness of companies. The CIRL introduces economic innovations for workers, such as the Regional Economic Element, which results in a 1.5% increase of the current minimum wages. The Regional Productivity Element will be distributed in the form of a variable bonus, calculated based on specific parameters linked to the economic and employment performance of the sector. There is also a one-off payment for the contractual holiday period.
With this agreement, both parties reiterate their shared commitment to the growth of the sector, strengthening the role of craft companies while simultaneously ensuring the workers of the sector in Piemonte are protected.
