On 2 March, a new meeting was held between the trade union organizations First-Cisl, Cgil-Fisac, Fna and Uilca and Ania for the renewal of the National Collective Labor Contract (CCNL) for insurance company employees. The topics discussed were work hours, insurance outsourcing, and the Solidarity Fund.
Regarding work hours, Ania expressed their opposition to reducing the weekly hours from 37 to 36 on a national level, delegating the possibility to individual companies.
As for insurance contracting, Ania declared its intention to guarantee greater security aimed at avoiding “pirate contracts” in the world of work, but reaffirming what was defined by Appendix 6 of the CCNL.
The trade union organizations reserved the right to evaluate possible solutions after conducting necessary in-depth studies, aimed at better protection of workers.
The next meeting is scheduled for 27 March.
