San.In.Veneto, the regional supplemental health assistance fund for artisan business workers in Veneto, has announced changes starting from 1st January 2026.
Specialist visits: A maximum limit on the number of services you can claim within the year has been introduced. The limit includes 15 specialised visits and 10 psychotherapy sessions (psychological visits). For this category, the fixed reimbursement amount is 30,00 euros.
Maternity package: The maternity package provides allowances/reimbursements for services related to assisted medical reproduction, pregnancy, and post-pregnancy.
Outpatient surgeries and day hospitals: These services are no longer paid as allowances, but as reimbursements, so proof of expenses incurred must be provided.
Physiotherapy: The fund provides a fixed reimbursement for each physiotherapy session, within the limit of the actual expenditure. The yearly indemnity is €2,500.
Lenses: The triennial upper limit for reimbursement of the costs incurred in purchasing prescription glasses and/or contact lenses is €300 for employees registered with Sani in Veneta coverage and €100 for those registered with voluntary coverage.
Dependent spouse: When applying for reimbursements pertaining to a dependant spouse, you’ll need to attach a tax statement indicating the tax burden related to the income of the previous year to the year of the invoice (e.g., invoice 2025 – income statement 2024 submitted in 2025).
