Agreement Renewal Signed by CIRL Edilizia Small Industry Confapi Toscana

On 18th May 2026, a revision of the regional collective employment contract for small and medium-sized companies in the construction sector was signed at the Confapi Toscana headquarters. This agreement, which concerns approximately 2,500 workers, was achieved by employer’s representatives along with Fillea-Cgil, Filca-Cisl, and Feneal-Uil union secretaries.

The new changes focus on both economic and regulatory aspects. The approved measures aim at strengthening workers’ purchasing power, promoting professional qualification, ensuring legality in procurement processes, and supporting the overall competitiveness of the companies.

On the pay front, territorial economic elements and allowances have seen an increase, along with the implementation of specific rates for travel and special and tiring tasks like asphalt-laying and waterproofing.

Central focus in this revision has been given to health and safety in the workplace. The agreement provides greater attention to preventive measures on construction sites and strengthening the role of the supervisor. Regarding the sector’s development, the parties have envisaged significant incentives for professional training of workers and qualification of companies in procurement procedures.

Furthermore, in an effort to combat unfair competition and protect regular employment, a regional observatory against contract dumping was established. As stated by the Social Parties, the new text further enhances the value of the sector’s contract, introducing substantial changes that decisively aim at growth and regeneration of the entire Tuscany construction industry.
