The intervention, activated within the Sustainable Growth Fund, has a budget of over 470 million euros, of which 328 million for the concession of facilitated financing and 145 million for direct contributions to expenses.
From July 10, companies of any size engaged in industrial, agro-industrial, artisanal, industrial services, and research activities can submit an application for access to incentives through the online desk of Mediocredito centrale, the measure manager on behalf of the Ministry.
Starting from June 25, interested parties can pre-fill applications using the online procedure available at the link https://fondocrescitasostenibile.mcc.it.
The facilitated procedure involves the participation of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and the financing banks affiliated with the Italian Banking Association.
The projects, which can also be carried out jointly by multiple companies, must involve industrial research and experimental development activities using key enabling technologies (KETs), in particular: nanotechnology and advanced materials, photonics and micro/nano electronics, advanced production systems, life science technologies, artificial intelligence, digital connectivity and security.
Eligible expenses and costs must not be less than 3 million euros and not exceed 20 million.
Access to incentives will be through a negotiated procedure.
Facilitated financing is granted for a maximum percentage of 50% of eligible expenses and costs for large companies and 40% for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The incentives granted in the form of direct expenditure contributions are structured based on the size of the proposing company: 30% for small enterprises, 25% for medium-sized enterprises, 15% for large enterprises.
