Private Security CCNL: New Consultation at the Ministry

Trade unions are demanding increased investment in order to reduce the number of crimes registered in recent months. A recent meeting took place at the Ministry of Interior with trade unions including Filcams-Cgil, Fisascat-Cisl, and Uiltucs, where the structural problems of private security and fiduciary services were addressed. Discussions ranged from assaults on cash in transit crews to increased security guarantees for workers in the industry.

In particular, greater investment is being sought to prevent the number of criminal events detected in recent months. Alongside this, there’s also a call to revise the DM 269/2010 decision, with the aim of strengthening security measures for security guards. This revision includes the introduction of a minimum threshold of three units for cash in transit crews and at least two employees for night services.

Trade unions have also requested the reactivation of the joint roundtable with employers’ associations. The Ministry confirms its intention to keep an active permanent roundtable to monitor and strengthen the protection measures for workers in this sector.
