Rinnovo del contratto siglato per la Piccola Industria alimentare CCNL

The Fai-Cisl, Flai-Cgil, Uila-Uil and Unionalimentari Confapi have recently signed a renewal for the national contract for small and medium food industries for 2024-2028 in Italy. This contract directly affects around 40,000 workers. The unions are expressing satisfaction with the negotiation results which align with their platform objectives, particularly in salary, reconciling work and life balance, and combating job insecurity.

With regards to wages, the new agreement provides for an increase of 280.00 euros to parameter 137, which will be disbursed in multiple tranches. The payments are scheduled as follows: 70.00 euros from June 1, 2025; another 70.00 euros from January 1, 2026; an additional 70.00 euros from April 1, 2027 and the last installment of 70.00 euros from January 1, 2028.

The corporate contribution to the Fondapi supplementary pension fund has been increased to 1.5%. The agreement also yielded significant results concerning the reduction of working hours, with a progressive increase in Rol hours for employees.

The regulatory part of the agreement has been updated and improved, with a greater focus on countering job insecurity. This is achieved by halving the overall percentage of temporary contracts, from 50% down to 25%, including those on loan and staff leasing. For parental leave, the paid hours have been increased for both childcare and eldercare.

Additionally, solutions have been identified for women who are victims of violence. The unions say these measures are part of their efforts to make the workforce more inclusive and offer workers more security and flexibility.
