On February 12th, 2026, Confartigianato Imprese, Cna, and Casartigiani Veneto, along with the regional workers’ unions Feneal-Uil, Filca-Cisl, and Fillea-Cgil, have signed the contract renewal for employees of artisan and small-to-medium sized construction and related businesses. The renewal is effective from March 1st, 2026, until December 31st, 2028.
The agreement stipulates allowances in the event of an employee having to transfer, proportionate to the distance traveled. To travel to a job site located outside the municipality and beyond 10kms from the company and up to 20kms, a refund of 22.00 euros is scheduled, plus at least 8.00 euros per day for meal provision. For a site located outside the municipality and beyond 20kms from the company and up to 35kms, 24.00 euros will be granted, along with a 10.00 euro per diem. Finally, for sites located more than 35kms away, the employee is entitled to an allowance of 28.00 euros and a per diem of 14.00 euros. The new allowance amounts will be effective from March 1st, 2026.
From the same date, workers working at a site located within the municipality, or outside the municipality and up to 10kms away from the company, are entitled to a hot meal provided by the company, with the company bearing the cost of 100% up to 14.00 euros. If this is not possible, the worker is entitled to a daily substitution allowance of at least 5.29 euros from the same aforementioned date. For overnight stays, a per diem of 12.00 euros is applicable.
The organizations have confirmed the provision of Seniority Professional Construction for workers and apprentices, as set in the IRCL of February 3rd, 2022. This provision applies to workers from the 5th to the 1st level.
