The Construction Fund of Catania has issued a document stipulating the new minimum wages for workers in the sector, effective from March 1, 2026.
The minimum hourly wage for construction workers is as follows:
– (IV Level) Fourth-level worker wage: Base salary is €9.04 with a territorial allowance of €1.51, a contingency allowance of €3.01, and an EDR of €0.06. The total stands at €13.62 with a Prevedi Fund set at 0.0959.
– (III Level) Specialized worker wage: The base pay is €8.40, territorial allowance is €1.39, a contingency allowance of €3.00, and an EDR of €0.06. The total is calculated to €12.85 with the Prevedi Fund set at 0.0890.
– (II Level) Qualified worker wage: The base pay is €7.56, a territorial allowance of €1.22, a contingency allowance of €2.99, and an EDR of €0.06. The total amounts to €11.83 with the Prevedi Fund set at 0.0801.
– (I Level) Common worker wage: The base pay stands at €6.46, with a territorial allowance of €1.04, a contingency allowance of €2.96, and an EDR of €0.06. The total comes to €10.52 with the Prevedi Fund set at 0.0685.
– Disc 90% wage: The base pay is €5.81 with a territorial allowance of €1.36, a contingency allowance of €2.47, and an EDR of €0.05, summing up to €9.69 in total and the Prevedi Fund set at 0.0570.
– Disc 80% wage: €5.17 base pay, with a territorial allowance of €1.21, a contingency allowance of €2.47, and an EDR of €0.04. The total amounts to €8.89 with the Prevedi Fund set at 0.0570.
Minimum monthly wages (building employees):
– (VII Level): Base salary €2,234.71, production premium €370.92, a contingency allowance of €533.82, an EDR of €10.33. The total salary stands at €3,149.78 with a Prevedi Fund at €20.00.
– (VI Level): Base pay €2,011.23, production premium €336.55, a contingency allowance of €529.63, an EDR of €10.33. The total amounts to €2,887.74 with a Prevedi Fund at €18.00.
