Starting from the 1st of June, 2025, there will be increases on minimum wages, travel allowances, and on-call duty allowances. On the 19th of June, 2025, Unionmeccanica Confapi, Fim-Cisl, Fiom-Cgil, and Uilm-Uil signed the protocol of agreement for the implementation of the proposed agreement of 26th May, 2021, relating to the adjustment of contractual minimums, travel allowances, and on-call duty.
As per the communication from ISTAT on the 12th of June, and considering the inflation dynamic related to the year 2024, calculated using the “IPCA excluding imported energy” which equated to 1.3%, the Social Parties have defined the minimum to be recognized to the workers of the sector, taking effect from the 1st of June, 2025. There would be increments in the wages for all levels from level 1 to 9, with the new minimum wages ranging from 1,587.26 euros per month for level 1 to 3,023.98 euros per month for level 9.
Concerning the allowances for lump-sum travel and on-call duty in effect on 31st May, 2025, the adjustment will follow what was indicated by ISTAT, that is, 1.3%. The travel allowances from the 1st of June, 2025 would be as follows: internal travel at 50.32 euros, meal allowance for lunch or dinner at 13 euros, and overnight allowance at 25.28 euros.
The on-call duty allowances for different levels of work and for different number of hours and day patterns would vary. For workers above the 5th level, the allowances would range from 7.89 euros for 16 hours on a working day to 58.21 euros for a 6-day period including holidays and off days. For workers at the 4th and 5th level, the allowances range from 6.87 euros to 49.79 euros and for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level, the allowances range from 5.76 euros to 41.09 euros.
