On October 28, 2025, labor union organization Fim-Cisl and employer association Confimi Mechanical Industry signed an agreement for wage adjustments for the two-year period 2025-2026 for employees of companies subject to the sector-specific CCNL signed on June 7, 2021.
The agreement provides a salary increase of up to 100 euros for workers in the sector, paid out in three tranches. For employees in category 5, including the Ipca Nei deviations, the wage increase will be as follows: 27.97 euros from June 1, 2025 (already paid), 22.03 euros from November 1, 2025, and 50 euros from June 1, 2026.
On the other hand, those employed with the Socrate contract for employment will receive a total increase of 80 euros also in three tranches: 24.13 euros from June 1, 2025 (already paid), 15.87 euros from November 1, 2025, and 40 euros from June 1, 2026.
Additionally, the agreement provides adjustments for the retributive minimums based on the workers’ category. For example, for workers in the 9th category, the minimum wage will be increased by 38.92 euros from June 1, 2025, by 30.66 euros from November 1, 2025, and by 69.59 euros from June 1, 2026.
The agreement also outlines changes for workers employed with the Socrate agreement. For instance, for workers in the 2nd category, their minimum wage will increase by 20.61 euros from June 1, 2025, by 13.55 euros from November 1, 2025, and by 34.16 euros from June 1, 2026.
From June 1, 2026, the agreement also provides an increase in allowance for business trips, lunch or dinner, and overnight stays to 52 euros, 13.89 euros, and 25.26 euros respectively.
In terms of daily and weekly standby pay, the agreement sets out increases for workers across different categories, for regular workdays, days off, and holidays. For instance, for workers in the 1st to 3rd category, the standby pay will be 6.07 euros for a worked day, 9.08 euros for a day off, and 9.82 euros for holidays. Weekly compensation for six days, including holidays and days off, will be between 39.44 and 43.19 euros. As the worker’s category increases, so does the standby pay and weekly compensation.
