The Social Parties Confcommercio and Manageritalia – National Federation of Managers, Executives and Professionals of Commerce, Transport, Tourism, Services and Advanced Tertiary signed a new contract for managers in the tertiary, distribution, and services sectors on November 5th, 2025. This agreement will commence on January 1, 2026, and remain in place until December 31, 2028.
The contract incorporates a gradual pay increase during the agreed period. This will entail an addition of €320 per month starting from 2026, then €260 per month from 2027, and finally €220 per month from 2028. Furthermore, managers will receive an annual welfare credit amounting to €1,500, allocated to the Mario Negri Fund, for each year between 2026 and 2028.
In addition to financial adjustments, the agreement introduces new guarantees for management-level employees suffering from oncological, disabling, or degenerative diseases. It also establishes a new body dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and pay transparency to promote a fair and sustainable work culture – the National Observatory. The contract updates represent a significant step towards providing increased protection for managers, establishing fair pay, and fostering an inclusive and equitable working environment.
