The Bilateral Entity of Friuli-Venezia Giulia has established a special fund to assist areas affected by recent natural disasters. The entity has stated that online requests for aid ranging from €600 to €1,500 are now active. Specifically, the €600 grant is catered to workers, while the €1,500 is designated for businesses.
The businesses can use the funds for expenses such as clean-up, securing premises, expert assessments, restorations, and replacements of damaged furniture or equipment. In addition to this financial contribution, the Confcommercio of Gorizia is offering full, free support.
To qualify for the funds, one must either be an active business in the areas damaged by the flood or a worker living in these areas or employed in a sector-specific company—even if it’s headquartered in another town in the province.
Applications can be immediately submitted through an online model, and the grants will be paid out within seven to nine days.
