On May 5, 2026, trade unions First-Cisl, Fisac-Cgil, Fna, Snafia, and Uilca-Uil issued a joint statement regarding their meeting with employer representative Ania on May 4 to discuss the renewal of the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Insurance sector.
In the meeting, Ania presented initial contract texts concerning the normative section which includes topics such as reduction of working hours, Cat Nat insurance, technological innovation, and equal opportunities.
However, there is some disagreement between Ania and the unions, particularly on the issues related to roles and seniority classes. Despite Ania showing agreement on certain issues, they contrast on others.
Future meetings have been scheduled for May 12 and 13 to continue the discussions.
