The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy in Italy has announced the conclusion of the procedure for the social security contribution relief for solidarity contracts for the year 2024. This was made public in a communique issued on August 20, 2025.
For the year 2024, funds amounting to 30 million euros, intended for the Social Fund for Employment and Training, have been entirely committed. This has been done in compliance with the provisions established by the decrees of the Minister of Labor and Social Policies, in agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, numbered 2/2017 and 278/2019, and by the Circular of the Ministry of Work and Social Policies numbered 18/2017, paragraph 2, third subparagraph.
These resources are designed to finance the social security contribution relief in favor of the companies that have regularly applied from November 30, 2024, to December 10, 2024. These companies have been suitably placed in the relative ranking and have been duly notified about the directorial decree admitting them to the benefit.
The Ministry wants to clarify that the requests that have come after the said expenditure limit have not been processed but still, the possibility of subsequent investigation upon the identification of any residual resources is maintained.
The announcement also contains the list of beneficiary companies for the financial year 2024.
