Recently, the fifth meeting was held between the National Secretariats of Fp-Cgil, Fp-Cisl, and Fpl-Uil, and the negotiating delegation of Federcasa for the renewal of the national collective labor contract. There was no progress made in terms of economic conditions. Federcasa communicated that it is not ready to formulate a wage proposal, while it waits for a discussion with the main political references in the industry – the Regional Conference and ANCI.
The trade union organizations rejected these justifications, emphasizing that the difficulties have been recognized for some time. The unions reiterated that any economic proposal must consider at least the wage levels currently being discussed in the local functions compartment to prevent treatment disparities with entities still applying that contract.
At the end of the meeting, trade union parties gave Federcasa an additional grace period to initiate dialogue with Regions and Municipalities, and secure the necessary resources for formulating a solid offer. The next meeting is scheduled for April 27, 2026.
