On March 16, 2026, Confartigianato Imprese Varese, Cna Lombardia Nord Ovest, and the Trade Unions of the Province of Varese signed the protocol agreement for the determination of the EVR (Variable Element of Remuneration) 2026. The EVR will be paid in monthly installments to workers, supervisors, and employees, including apprentices, working in companies with both company parameters showing equal or positive results.
This agreement is based on regional verification of parameters that reflect the cyclical trends of the sector, related to the results achieved in terms of productivity, quality, and competitiveness of the territory, all of which have shown positive outcomes.
Therefore, for 2026, the EVR to be allocated in monthly quotas, for companies whose company parameters are either equal or positive, is set at 4% of the minimum tabular in force as of July 1, 2018. The monthly EVR 4% amounts are as follows:
For 7th level – executives and 1.a upper category: €69.42
For 6th level – 1.a category: €60.74
For 5th level – 2.a category: €50.61
For 4th level – 4th level employees: €46.88
For 3rd level – 3.a category: €43.84
For 2nd level – 4.a category: €38.76
For 1st level – 4.a category first employment: €33.86
On an hourly rate, the 4% EVR calculations as of July 1, 2018 are as follows:
For a 4th level worker: €0.27
For a specialized worker – 3rd level: €0.25
For a qualified worker – 2nd level: €0.22
For a common worker -1st level: €0.20
For guardians: €0.18
For guardians with accommodation: €0.16
There are also calculations provided for a 50% EVR. The monthly amounts for this calculation are also based on the base pay levels as of July 1, 2018 as shown below:
For 7th level – executives and 1.a upper category: €34.71
For 6th level – 1.a category: €30.37
For 5th level – 2.a category: €25.31
For 4th level – 4th level employees: €23.44
For 3rd level – 3.a category: €21.92
For 2nd level – 4.a category: €19.38
For 1st level – 4.a category first employment: €16.93
In terms of hourly rates, the 50% EVR calculations as of July 1, 2018 are as follows:
For a 4th level worker: €0.14
For a specialized worker – 3rd level: €0.13
For a qualified worker – 2nd level: €0.11
For a common worker -1st level: €0.10
For guardians: €0.09
For guardians with accommodation: €0.08
The agreement also states that the payment of arrears from January 2026 must be made within the deadline of remuneration for the month of August 2026.
