On June 24, a fifth meeting took place between the national secretariats Slc, Fistel, Uilcom, Ugl, and Assocarta, Assografici for the renewal of the sector CCNL expired on December 31, 2024. The employers reinforced their proposal from the previous meeting on May 20, 2025, on which the unions already expressed disagreement on certain points.
Regarding the workers’ requests, employers have shown some willingness concerning the increase of the company’s share for the Byblos pension fund and the complementary health fund, Salute Sempre.
Partial availability was recorded concerning health and safety issues, specifically the strengthening of education and increased dialogue between RLS and RSPP. Opposition was expressed to the increase in the hours of leave and the number of RLS.
The employers confirmed their willingness to accept the request for a percentage increase in night work. However, they rejected or postponed certain points, such as dressing time, adjustment of tables A and C, and the wage guarantee element, currently amounting to €250.
Regarding the economic aspect, the national secretariats reiterated the need for a wage increase aligned with deviations between real inflation and the inflation considered in the last contract. The employers showed willingness to this request, emphasizing the need to evaluate both regulatory and wage aspects.
Concerning the reform of the unique classification of technical work, the national secretariats highlighted the need for a comparison between the old and new classification system to identify potential issues.
The last point of convergence was the sector’s attractiveness aimed at promoting the entry of new generations. Several corrective actions were proposed, such as shortening career paths, a restyling of the image, possible interventions on schedules, and work-life balance.
The social parties scheduled the next meetings for September 9 and 30, 2025.
